Notes: £15 per Class First Aid £4.00 per Competitor / Handler Entries will be accepted on Show Day at DOUBLE ENTRY FEE ***As Ayr County Show takes place at Ayr Racecourse we require to conform to BHA Vaccination rules (Equine Influenza) as follows: ALL HORSES / PONIES attending a Racecourse will require a valid vaccination course with annual boosters being suffice providing that the equine has been vaccinated WITHIN 6 MONTHS of the date of the event (10th May 2025) which means most up to date vaccination requires to be administered between November 2024 & April 2025. Notes: Entry Fee - £20 per class Showmanship & Calf Classes - £5 per class Annual Membership - £20 (if not already a Member of the Association) Exhibitor Wristband Allocation Up to 4 entries – 2 Wristbands Over 4 entries – 3 Wristbands Additional Admission Wristband's available to purchase at £16 each CPH NUMBER - 69/176/8012 IMPORTANT RULE Any animal coming from a Scottish holding must have a ‘negative’ herd status for BVD or be individually tested negative for the BVD virus. Any animal from a ‘not negative’ herd cannot move to a show unless it has been individually tested negative for the BVD virus. Any animal coming from outside Scotland should either be from a BVD CHeCS accredited herd or be individually tested negative for the BVD virus. PLEASE UPLOAD CERTIFICATION IF AVAILABLE at time of entries. Ayr County Show Bluetongue Policy 2025 We understand the growing concern surrounding the current Bluetongue situation and want to reassure you, our exhibitors, that Ayrshire Agricultural Association and everyone at the Ayr County Show is taking a proactive and precautionary approach. We are closely monitoring the situation and are working in partnership with APHA to ensure the right policies and procedures are in place to prioritise the health and wellbeing of all animals and exhibitors. As the legislation around movement restrictions is subject to change, we want to be transparent and that current rules may not remain the same by the time of the Show. To provide clarity and reassurance. The Ayrshire Agricultural Association will implement the policy below, which covers eligibility for entry and refund arrangements should the Bluetongue situation evolve. • Entries will not be accepted from any exhibitor in a restriction zone at the time of entry. • Any exhibitor who moves into a restriction zone between the time of entry and the Show is therefore unable to attend and will be offered a refund. • Exhibitors who are unaffected by Bluetongue restrictions will remain subject to our standard terms & conditions, listed in the schedule. We remain committed to keeping all exhibitors informed and supported. Should Government guidance change, we will continue to work closely with APHA and will communicate any updates as soon as possible.
